Purchase Orders

In Martial Class™, Purchase orders are used to bring stock into your inventory.

The Purchase order lifecycle is:

1)	Create/Edit a new purchase order Purchase Order Status = UNSENT

Until the purchase order is Sent:

items can be added or removed,

quantities and prices can be altered,

shipping charges can be modified,

NO stock can be received from that order

NO payments can be made for that order

2)	Send the purchase order Purchase Order Status = Sent and Open

After the purchase order is Sent and until it is Closed:

items can NOT be added or removed,

quantities and prices can NOT be altered,

shipping charges can NOT be modified,

1)	Receive Shipments and Pay Suppliers.

Note: it is possible to receive extra items on an order.

4)	Close the purchase order Purchase Order Status = Closed

After the purchase order is Closed no alterations to the order can be made, no more stock can be received and no payments can be made.
