Registering other forms of ID for Stock Items

Some times you may wish to use your own barcoded tickets for stock items, or you may want to use the barcodes installed by the packaging process or the manufacturer.

With Martial Class™ you can register several forms of ID against any one item allowing you a variety of scanning options. Many types of barcode may also be used, including:

Code 128

ISBN

UPC

and many more...

To register other scanned labels for sales of stock, stock reordering and order delivery acceptance, you need to do the following:

Edit the stock item, select the item size you are scanning for, and select the scanner that will be used to register the id item...

2. Swipe or scan the item and the following window will appear in Martial Class™.

You will need to scan the item at least one more time (possibly more if you're using a worn or old ID and/or an unreliable scanner). Then Martial Class™ allows you to enter a name to identify that scanned item.

To Cancel the registration process for a new form of ID, just use the Cancel button, or if it is already in the Other Scannable Items list select it and use the

key.

The hand button allows you to release the scanner when you have finished registering items for this user. Closing the window will also release the scanner.
