Reporting Errors or Limitations

During editing of criteria and result fields for reports, the Results tab is updated to show a sample result set.

Although it is intended this reporting interface will not allow the construction of invalid criteria, it is possible this may occur.
In the case of such an error, the result set will be replaced with an error message.

The SQL tab is provided to allow people with some technical knowledge to determine if the error was caused by their selection criteria.

We are constantly looking to improve Martial Class™, so if you manage to generate an error please register the error directly in the support system at:
   http://support.MartialClass.com

Please make sure you include:

1.

the error information from the Results tab, and

2.

the sql from the SQL tab

We can use this information to better serve your requirements in future versions of Martial Class™.


Additionally, you may find it not possible to create a certain report, perhaps the field you require is not available, or you cannot create an appropriate set of criteria.

In these cases, please describe the report you are after in the online forums at: http://forum.MartialClass.com

In some cases, another user of Martial Class™ may have worked out how to create that report, or we may provide that information.

If it is a genuine limitation, we will look to enhancing the interface to support such reports in a future version.
