The Add Scan Window is displayed when you are scanning a new identification into the system, either for a student or a product item.
When scanning a new item, Martial Class™ requires that you scan it more than once. This is in order to reduce the number of mis-scans and increase accuracy.
Generally, when using a good quality barcode or clean magnetic strip with a good quality scanner, you will only need to scan the item twice to achieve a good accuracy.
If the scanner has trouble scanning the item, you will need to scan more than two times so Martial Class™ will be able to determine the correct information to store for matching.
