The Contract Requirement Editor Window

The Contract Requirement Editor window allows you to specify a link between students in your system and one of the various contract types you offer.

You can get to this window for the purposes of defining a new contract requirement by selecting one or more students in the Student Browser Window and selecting Contract Requirements->New Contract Requirement from either the student menu in the menu bar, or the right-click popup menu.

The Students you select will appear in the Members Covered list. You can add to this list by drag-dropping new students into it from other windows, and remove students by selecting one or more and hitting the key-deletedelete key.

The active person in the list is used to prepopulate the Bill To field, but you can also drag-drop a student on that field to change the default bill recipient.

The Effective From and To dates are used to specify the period in which this contract MUST be signed for a student in that group to be training, typically for a new contract requirement you can leave the To field blank and fill it in later when you know you want that requirement to no longer apply.

The Description can be almost any text you want to use to describe this contract requirement, such as "<lastname> family contract".
