The Fee Editor Window

The Fee Editor Window is used to modify fees to charge for items such as class attendance, floor fees, insurance, training contracts, locker hire, etc.

Fees set up in this way are typically used to:
·charge to Students when required (adhoc: such as a locker rental fee, or for a replacement membership card, etc), and/or  
·attach to a Package for billing a period in reaction to someone attending class (ie: pay for the month they turn up to train).  

NOTE: To handle scheduled billing, use contracts instead.

document The Frequency drop-down determines how the fee is charged:
·Once only  
·Half-Hour (or part of)  
·Hour (or part of)  
·Lesson  

There are also periodic charges that are based on Calendar Periods
·Daily  
·Weekly   (Sunday to Saturday)  
·Monthly   (1st to last day of each Calendar Month)  
·Quarterly   (Jan-Mar, Apr-Jun, Jul-Sep, Oct-Dec)  
·Bi-Annually   (Jan-Jun, Jul-Dec)  
·Annually   (Jan-Dec)  
 
document The fee Total value inserted here is the default fee amount to charge for this item (ie if an adhoc fee is charged). Packages and Discounts can override the Total value assigned to this fee, you can also alter the fee value when you drop it on a student.

In the case of periodic fees, the fee is not automatically charged until a class is attended in that period.
