The Order Specification Dialog

The Order Specification Dialog is displayed whenever you are selling an item to a student (or the public).

Its appearance, the options provided, and the default settings vary according to the type of item being sold and the person it is being sold to.

Its primary function is to provide the ability to specify the number of items to add to the order or purchase.

When it is displayed, you can simply type a number (to change the ordered/purchased amount from the default of 1) which will go into the Number of items field (as it has the focus when the window appears) then
1.Hit the OK button (or Enter key) then the item is added; or  
2.Hit the cancel button (or esc key) to cancel this item being added.

The List Box displays sizes available for this item.

If you drag/drop a specific size of item, that size is automatically selected, otherwise the system attempts to autoselect the student's correct size.

The Checkbox allows you to tell Martial Class™ that it should update the named student's default size for this type of item to the one selected in the Listbox.

This is useful as it allows a confirmation of the size being ordered, and allows you to amend the students default size for this item.

Any time the student does not have a default size set against them, this option will be automatically selected.


Note: The Checkbox is not available when selling items to the general public.
