The Reports Window

The Reports Window provides a central area to manage all the reports available to the various areas of Martial Class™.

From this window it is possible to:

Create, Duplicate, and Edit Reports,

Delete Reports,

Export Reports to file for transfer to other users of Martial Class™,

Import Reports supplied to you,

Organise your reports and determine the windows from were Martial Class™ each report is available.

The hierarchy that you build in this window can be used to organise your reports.

This hierarchy is used when building the Reports menu available on most windows in Martial Class™. Only those folders with reports relevant to that window will be constructed.

The checkboxes next to each report show Martial Class™ where reports should be visible in the system.

As you can create quite complex reports on multiple complicated criteria that report across a wide selection of fields from within the system, no attempt is made to automatically "guess" where you would like to access reports from. Instead, you specify from where you would like to access your reports.

There are some minor exceptions to this rule where some database elements make no sense to report on from certain windows, or are limited to only a certain window. In these cases, these reports cannot be run from those windows.
