The Report Generation Dialog

The Report Generation Dialog is displayed when you choose to run a report, and the report has been saved with its clip0097 Prompt for Values checkbox selected.

From this dialog, you are able to completely change the selection criteria for each Data Extract of the report. This is useful if you have a report you want to be able to run for date or value ranges, or to optionally include additional criteria.

document The changes you make here are NOT saved to the report definition, they are in effect only for the report being generated.

This dialog operates in a similar manner (albeit with less functionality) to the Report Editor Window (with respect to your ability to change record selection criteria for each Data Extract).

If you choose clip0099, the report is aborted.

The Destination field will show at least one option (Disk File) to enable you to redirect the report to a data extract if you wish.
