The Student Details Window

The Student Details Window is the window containing the most information in Martial Class™. From it you can update almost all information about your students/staff.

The top section of the window provides basic information including the individual's Picture, their Name and Family, gender and date of birth.

The Firstname, Lastname, and Family fields are Mandatory.

You can mark the picture and other name fields as Mandatory and/or Requested fields (The Marital Status and Nationality fields in the example above have been "Marked").

You can load a new student photo from disk, acquire one from a scanner or camera, or paste one from the clipboard (using the Picture menu). Doing any of these actions brings up the Photo Editor Window to crop and rotate the picture as required.

Note: You can edit a family name by clicking the button to the left of the family combo box

this will bring up the Family Name Window.

You can edit a membership number by selecting the Change Member Number option from the File menu.

You can assign the next member number in the sequence by using the

button next to the Member Number field. See Autogenerating Member Numbers for more information.

If the OK button is disabled, you may be missing some mandatory information. To determine what is missing or incorrect, press the

button and a popup window will let you know what is missing, eg:
