This displays the Transaction Window, the main window used to handle all student and public sales, orders and payments.

transaction

This window has a lot of capability allowing you to have complete control over how orders and payments are handled. You set the date for this transaction using the calendar control.

The Item List

The item list shows all items being manipulated in this transaction. Each item is shown along with the person who ordered it, its description and size, and price/owing/supplied information.

You can click the clip0137 button to display the Items Window. Then you drag-drop items from the Items window into this transaction to add them to the order. Alternately, you can select a scanner from the scanner dropdown and scan items into the order.

Items can be removed from the transaction by selecting them and using the key-delete key, or using the Remove Items From Window menu item from the right-click menu.

Items can be repriced for a sale by double-clicking the Price column entry and entering a new price. Hovering your mouse over any price will show a tax popup showing you the tax breakdown for that item.

Entering Payments and Allocating Funds

You enter amounts received in the Amount Received field. Martial Class™ adds that amount to any current credit for the student and automatically allocates the funds to paying for the items in the Item list.

You can override how much is allocated to a specific item by double-clicking the Pay column entry for that item.

Supplying Items

You supply items by either checking the checkbox in the Supplied column, or using the Supply Item menu item in the right-click menu.

Cancelling/Returning Orders

To cancel orders or return items, select them in the list and use the Cancel/Return Order menu item from the right-click menu.
