Items and fees dropped on students in the event window work in a similar way to other windows, however, working with transactions in the events window differs in a few ways:
1) Dropping an item (or items) on a student will auto-order the item (provided there are no item groups in that group of items dropped). That is, the Transaction Window will not open, the order will simply be added and marked as supplied.
2) The display of ordered items in the Event Window shows only those items ordered through this window (that is, they are flagged as ordered for this event, regardless of when or where they were ordered. This is useful for things like grading fees in the sense that regardless of when you drop the fee on the student, it will always be visible against that student in that event.
3) The display of items is further seperated by the style selected. That is, for each style different fees can be charged or shown.
4) If you drop items or fees on the list when several people are selected, each person gets those items or fees ordered, unless you drop item groups on the list, then the transaction window will open for that person with the ability to specify item sizes.
Additionally, if you accidentally charge a fee to a student that should be associated with an event, you can drag-drop the fee from another window on to the student in the correct event window which will associate the fee with that event.
