When you start up Martial Class™ for the first time, you are asked to enter some basic information to pre-configure the system.
This information auto-populates the system and creates an initial training venue. It also adds you as a student of that venue (as ALL people tracked in Martial Class™ are entered into the system).
Once you get into Martial Class™ you will see a Student Browser window. You can start up multiple Student Browser windows and drag students between them (to change their "home" center), or drag students from there to attend them in classes and register them in events.
In fact, a lot of the basic operations you perform with students can be performed by dragging and dropping students from one window to another. This is one of the most powerful features of Martial Class™. It is a simple paradigm to learn and it makes the operation of the system faster and more enjoyable than other systems.
On most windows in Martial Class™ you will also have a menu bar. This menu bar contains some menus specific to the type of window you have open, and some that are more general functions.
The most commonly used menus will include the Windows menu.
The Windows menu gives you access to the main interfaces available to manage your school.
As you use the system and end up opening more windows, the windows menu will include these windows allowing you to quickly navigate between them, or "find" one you thought you had open, but cannot find.
