About the developer community

We have BIG plans for where Martial Class™ is headed, and a very big part of the future for us is building a good developer community.

We have taken the first step in our journey by providing a powerful report creation interface in Version 3.3. As more and more instructors and school owners take up Martial Class™, some of them may require assistance in creating forms and reports particular to their requirements.

Our future vision includes comprehensive APIs for developers wishing to expand Martial Class™ with third party add-ins or enhancements, for Windows and on other platforms.

What can developers work on now?

Building Reports

This is an opportunity for computing-related organisations (or individuals) to exercise their Crystal, Word Merge and database expertise and perhaps set up an online business. Not only can you offer report building to bring users' current format paper forms into Martial Class™, but you can also use your business knowledge in creating useful reports for marketing, new student source analysis, school and financial performance reports, and a myriad of other useful outputs.

If you decide to offer your services for report generation or other enhancements, feel free to add your name to the developer stream in the forums, so our users can contact you with their requirements.

Designing Icons

This is really for anyone with some artistic flair. Feel free to offer icons from your own site (send us an email and we will link to you), or send us the icons and we'll offer them for download directly.
